Brewery: Oast House Brewers (Niagara on the Lake)
Type: Biere de Garde
Appearance / Aroma: Rich brown ale with a deep cream froth which retained quite well yet laced rather little. It smells very little.
Taste / Feel: It’s a lively carbonated and excited beer. It is as unsmooth of a malt beer as I’ve had. It’s unusual and interesting. It tastes deeply of raisins and strangely like dried figs, or prunes, and rubbish. It is not a well done beer. Beautiful texture, colour, head, but the flavour is way off. Just a mess. Unfinished. and Un-finish-able.
