Brewery: Side Launch Brewing Company
Aroma / Appearance / Body: Pours into the glass nicely with a cloudy, pale yellow color. The body appears fairly light and vibrant and it smells like a fruity concoction of citruses like orange and grapefruit.
Thoughts: The taste is almost exactly the way it smells and actually reminds me a lot of Beau’s Bog Water. I’m definitely getting that fruitiness noted in the smell as well as what seem to be spices. What’s interesting here is that Beau’s Bog Water actually brews the beer with spices whereas the only extra ingredient in this one, aside from water, barley, hops, and yeast, is wheat.
Alternatively, at times, it seems a tad watery; the flavor isn’t explosive. That being said, I can understand the desire to consume something like this after a physical activity. It’s quite refreshing.
