Brewery: Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company
Type: Gruit Ale
Thoughts: Initially, this beer has a subtle floral, perfumy taste. It’s similar to hoppy beers however without the bitterness, which makes for a very interesting experience. Through the middle I begin to detect spices, such as clover, on top of an orange/grapefruit base. Overall, very low bitterness with a clean aftertaste. To me, this is comparable to a good wheat beer.
I would drink a couple of these at a time. It’s a good beer for a dinner party where you’re looking to substitute something for a glass of wine with your meal.
