Location: New Zealand
Taste: A beer that sounds German which adheres to the purity law, and is made from fresh New Zealand water. Needless to say, I had high expectations. This is a fascinating beer. It looks bright and lively, lots of carbonation. No additives, preservatives, and pure New Zealand water. The taste rises to the hop of the mouth, the carbonation makes the taste seem bigger than it is, if you drink slowly it’s a big acidic and bubbly experience- drink it quickly and it’s the quickest flash of flavour ever. It’s crisp- but it’s so light I can’t fall for it. I have had 5 and still can’t figure out this beer. I like it, but I hoped it was better. Still… interesting.
