Brewery: Friesisches Brauhaus

Type: Pilsener Friesisch Herb (Pilsner)

ABV: 4.9%

Taste: Initially, a hint of sweetness and fruit. The middle brings in the bitterness and towards the end comes a raisin / metal taste, which is similar to an English Ale. I don’t like beer with a strong, distinct taste of copper. It’s not pleasant.

Jever! I remember that this is the only beer I had in Germany that I did not like. After 5 hours of biking, to not like a beer… that must not be a good beer.

Which is a downright shame because all the German beer I’ve had otherwise has been great! DAB and Bitgurger, to name a few.
